Polystyrene Nucleus Hive

Our polystyrene nucleus hives holds 6 BS frames and comes complete with a removable feeder which allows for easier cleaning, it has an open mesh floor to help with Verroa control and to help with ventilation during transit , it also comes with 4 feet to keep the hive off the ground.

The hive also has a disc entrance for easier control of the entrance and a clear board for easy viewing without completely opening the hive. This material is very high density 100g/litre upto 3 times stronger than the polystyrene used in packaging it provides an excellent insulation helping to keep the Bees warm in winter and cool in summer.
